Please join me and the Vt. Philharmonic Orchestra at Elley-Long Music Center at Fort Ethan Allen, Colchester at 7:30 this Saturday, Feb. 13th.
It will feature Mussorgsky's "Pictures at an Exhibition," Brahms "Tragic Overture," a very lovely and warming piece by Ralph Vaughan Williams performed by the string section. Our 2015 student scholarship winner is Alan Chiang performing the first movement of Beethoven's Piano Concerto #3. To top off this concert will be Katherine Winterstein, VSO Concertmaster, performing " Poem for Violin and Orchestra" by Ernest Chausson. Hope to see you there!
