Workshop: Managing Woodlands for Trees and Wildlife Feb. 20

Past event
Feb 20, 2016

Trees & wildlife alike benefit from good woodlands management practices. On Saturday, February 20, Sue Morse and others will show how to make your own woodlands healthier and more productive for wildlife -- and bears in particular. At this all-day field workshop in a bear-rich forest right here in Jericho, you'll learn from experts about bear biology and how land owners and managers can stimulate the productive diversified food and cover resources that bears and all wildlife need. Sue Morse will lead the session, bringing her experience as a naturalist, forester and founder of Keeping Track literally "to bear" on the topic. Sponsored by the Vermont Woodlands Association.

Registration is limited to 20, and the sign-up deadline is 2/15, so hurry to reserve your place.
