You are invited to stop by Catamount Arts this Saturday from 1-4 p.m., when Milarepa Center will be hosting a celebration for Tibetan New Year (called Losar). The Tibetan calendar is the lunar calendar and this year the New Year falls on Tuesday, February 9th. The first 15 days of the New Year are auspicious (called Monlam). We will be ushering in this Year of the Fire Monkey at Catamount Arts on Saturday the 13th with this cultural event!

FREE TO ATTEND! There will be Tibetan Music & Chanting, Arts & Crafts for kids (and adults!)

The event will also feature a traditional Tibetan-style soup (called thukpa), lattes, Nepali handicrafts, meditation supplies, and Buddhist books for sale! 100% of all proceeds benefit Milarepa Center.
