Storytelling Performance & Puppet Making Event

Join the Hitchcock Museum and Library for a very special Storytelling Performance by Steve Myott on Sunday, February 21st from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Steve is a well-known storyteller, teacher, stilt-walker, mask maker and puppeteer. His puppets and masks have been used in parades, performances and special events across the country. You may recognize his work from the Bread and Puppet Theater. Children and adults are invited to enjoy Steve’s interactive storytelling performance followed by a simple puppet making exercise. The Hitchcock Museum & Library is located at 1252 VT Route 100 in Westfield. For more information call the Library at 744-8258.

These free winter workshops are part of a Children’s Literacy Foundation (CLiF) Rural Libraries Grant the Hitchcock Museum and Library was honored to receive for 2015-2016. Special thanks to the grant sponsor, Mrs. Willa McDougall, for providing free and inspiring literacy programs to area youth. Stop in to see the Libraries new children’s book collection donated by Mrs. McDougall and CLiF!
