Enjoy a Bowl of Soup for the Vermont Foodbank at MUD
It's that time of year again to come on down to the MUD Clay Studio in Middlesex to enjoy homemade soup served in a beautiful ceramic bowl to take home with you – and to support the Vermont Foodbank.
For the third year, the Empty Bowl benefit for the Vermont Foodbank will take place on Saturday, February 13 from 4:30 to 7 p.m. The minimum adult donation is $25, and tickets for children ages 5-12 are $5 for a meal only and children under 5 are free. Take out is also available. Tickets may be purchased at the door or online at https://give.vtfoodbank.org/EmptyBowl. This popular fundraiser has raised over $10,000 in the last two years to help the one in four Vermonters who struggle with food insecurity every day. All proceeds go to the Vermont Foodbank.
The event organizers would like to thank Regal Flower Design in the Red Hen complex in Middlesex for providing floral arrangements for the event (Yana's exquisite European-style creations would make a beautiful Valentine's Day gift!!!!) and Christ Episcopal Church in Montpelier for opening up its kitchen for two days of soup making.
