A heads up to all my neighbors near Five Corners and anyone who drives through Five Corners: at the February 18th planning meeting there will be a conceptual master plan for a mixed use development at 9 & 11 Park St. (Pho Dang and the White House next to it). This is proposed as commercial, residential and senior housing. As the large building with up to 6 commercial spaces and 50 apartments nears completion, it should be noted that the majority of traffic will enter and exit via Park Terrace. This will surely impact Five Corner traffic more than the Chittenden Bank did, but we won't know until it is occupied. This proposed use development will also impact Park St traffic whether they have there own entrance or use Park Terrace.
Planning meetings are the only chance we have in the Village to learn about projects and make our voices heard. I encourage everyone that lives in the Village to attend the meeting at 6:00 pm.
