Lent, the season in the Christian year leading up to Easter (3/27/2016), begins on Ash Wednesday, 2/10. Many churches in Jericho and Underhill will observe Ash Wednesday in one way or another and we hope you are able to connect as you want and need. At the United Church of Underhill we will observe it in the following ways:

1) 6:30-8:30 AM. For the 4th year, we will be offering “Ashes-to-Go” in our parking lot (7 Park Street in Underhill Flats – the Harvest Market Church...look for the campfire!). Simply pull into the lot on your way to school, work, or wherever and receive Ashes in drive-thru fashion. A quick and easy way to begin your Lenten journey.

2) 7:00 PM. We will join together with Jericho United Methodist Church and Covenant Community Church for an evening Ash Wednesday service. We will gather at the United Church of Underhill (again...7 Park Street in Underhill Flats) for a time of study, prayer, meditation, Holy Communion and ashes. All invited.
