It's that time of year again to come on down to the MUD Clay Studio in Middlesex to enjoy homemade soup served in a beautiful ceramic bowl to take home with you – and to support the Vermont Foodbank. Over the past two years, this popular fundraiser has raised over $10,000 to help the one in four Vermonters who struggle with food insecurity every day. All proceeds go to the Vermont Foodbank.
The Empty Bowl benefit for the Vermont Foodbank will take place on Saturday, February 13 from 4:30 to 7 p.m. The minimum adult donation is $25. Tickets for children ages 5-12 are $5 for a meal only, children under 5 are free. Take out is also available. Tickets may be purchased at the door or online at https://give.vtfoodbank.org/EmptyBowl.
Two names were inadvertently left off this list of generous sponsors in our previous post. The event organizers would like to thank Christ Episcopal Church in Montpelier for opening its kitchen for two days of soup making and Regal Flower Design in the Red Hen Middlesex complex for providing floral arrangements for the event. (Yana's exquisite European-style creations would make a beautiful Valentine's Day gift!)
