Mansfield Cooperative plans on staying very close to the homeschool model in the sense that we value the learning that results from practical life experiences, multi-age learning and parent involvement. We mix this with Montessori philosophy in a progressive model of interest-based learning. We believe in small, intimate class sizes, many field trips and guests, and hands-on, project based learning. Parents are very involved and work with the teacher to plan lessons based on individual progress and needs.
