MMS Science and Engineering Fair

Please join us for the 3rd annual Milton Middle School Science and Engineering Fair. Milton Middle School students will culminate 6 weeks of research, design, experimentation, and data analysis by proudly displaying their projects for all within the community to see.

WHAT: Milton Middle School’s 3rd Annual Science and Engineering Fair.

WHEN: Thursday, February 11th from 5:30-7:30 pm.

WHERE: Milton Middle School’s gymnasium.

WHO: All 360 middle school students in sixth, seventh and eighth grade.

WHY:
1) Students chose topics of personal interest and wove them into the science classroom.
2) Teachers, healthcare professionals, engineers and other members of the local scientific community will volunteer as judges to evaluate student work and provide an authentic audience for students.
3) The science and engineering fair will happen in conjunction with the Milton Community Dinner. Enjoy a buffet-style dinner that is open to the public while perusing over student posters. Donations for the dinner are accepted at the cafeteria door.
4) See how students are developing and using skills essential for the present and their future.
5) Attending and covering this event will validate the students’ hard work, creativity & innovation, and problem-solving abilities.
