February 20th-21st
Check out EarthWalk’s Teen WILD, a monthly weekend overnight program just for teens.
Come join a group of teens and EarthWalk mentors for a winter camping experience in February. If the weather’s right and there’s snow on the ground, we’ll build and sleep in a snow shelter (called a quinzhee). How cool is that? If not, we’ll build a big fire in our enclosed shelter and take turns tending it all night long. There will also be story sharing, wild teas, wildlife tracking and time to just relax and enjoy the atmosphere of the winter woods.
When: Saturday, February 20th at 10am to Sunday February 21st until Noon.
Future 2016 Teen WILD weekends include: April 16-17, May 21-22, June 11-12.
Where: Hawthorn Meadow and surrounding woods on the campus of Goddard College, Plainfield, Vermont
Who: All teens aged 13 to 17 are welcome, regardless of experience. Spaces are limited to 12.
Cost: Try a weekend for $150, or join us for three or more weekends at $140 per weekend. Some scholarships are available.
