There is still space in the LGBTQ "Tune Up" Workshops which are geared for Allies of the LGBTQ community as well all those who identify as lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender or questioning. The same two-hour workshop will be offered in Montpelier on Thursday Feb 11 at 9:30 am and on Sunday Feb 21 at noon by trained facilitator Mara Iverson. There is no charge for the workshops but advance registration is requested for planning purposes.

The workshop curriculum, produced by the Safe Zone Project, covers updated vocabulary and clarifies some things that lots of us find a little confusing about sex vs. gender vs. sexual orientation. It also covers ways in which we all can best support the LGBTQ community. The info is conveyed in a fun, relaxed way.
