St. Albans Rec... 1st Annual Winter Carnival Snowbowl
~ Flag football ~Sunday, February 28, 2016 ~ 12:00noon-2:00pm ~ Hard’ack Recreation Area
Game Rules:
- Play will be on reduced size field - Each team will consist of 5 players. Flags will be used.
- NO FEE!
- Registered teams will compete in a small bracket tournament from 12:00 to 2:00pm, scheduling to be provided on game day. If less than 4 teams are registered –play will take place as pick up.

a. No kickoffs, teams will start possession at their goal line.
b. Quarterback Rushing: Only 1 opposing defensive player can rush the quarterback at a time, and ONLY after counting to five seconds out loud. The Quarterback cannot break the line of scrimmage until a rushing defensive player crosses to rush the quarterback.
c. There are no fumbles. If the ball is dropped during play, the ball will be spotted at the location of the drop.
d. A Touchdown counts as 7 points. If a team decides to try for an extra point, they can get 8 points upon successful completion of said attempt, or risk losing 1 point (only getting 6 points) if the conversion point attempt fails.
e. Length of games to be determined on game day.
f. As with all recreation programming, good sportsmanship and appropriate language is expected of all participants.

Fields will be created on the soccer fields at Hard’ack. Join the fun, get outside, enjoy a frosty brew at the JW Ryan’s Snow Bar that will be set up for the event!
Bring spectators (they can enjoy a hot toddy while watching the game!)
