Anti-Racism Event Focuses on White Privilege
The First Universalist Parish of Chester, Vermont, will host an anti-racism event on Monday evening February 8th at the church. The program titled “White Privilege - What Is It and How Can I Move Beyond It?” will be led by Steve Crofter and Laurel Green. They will define white privilege and present several viewpoints about it. Participants will also have an opportunity to share their own experiences and perspectives. The evening will begin at 7 PM, but will be preceded by an optional potluck supper at 5:30. All are welcome to share in the meal.The church is located on North Street (Route 103) in the Stone Village of Chester. The site is wheelchair accessible.
