Join us at Martha Canfield Library and meet Deborah Harte Felmeth as she presents her book "Syria - Remember Me" on Sunday February 7 at 2:30 pm. Ms. Felmeth fell in love with Syria during a trip in 1991. She and her husband divided their time after that equally between Damascus and their Vermont home until the recent upheavals and tragedy of war. Her visual images of the cultural diversity, history and beauty of the Syrian people through the lens of simple photographs of daily living provide a contrast to the images of turmoil portrayed in today's media.
