Tonight, Tuesday, Feb 2!

I may be too late in getting the word out to the community, but there's a special concert this evening at 7:00 pm at the Casella Theater. Michael Arnowitt will perform three of Beethoven's piano sonatas. This is Michael's final concert in his 26-year-long odyssey to perform all 32 Beethoven sonatas! Starting in 1989 when he was 26 years old, Michael began a series of eight concerts, matching up his age as he performed the various sonatas with Beethoven’s age as he composed them. Tonight's event marks the end of the novel study into the psychology of aging and development with a program of Beethoven’s last three piano sonatas op. 109, 110, and 111, universally regarded as among the most spiritual and transcendent music of all time.
