Tonight is the February rehearsal for the Capital City Band. New members are always welcome, especially people who have a dusty instrument begging to be used again. Our rehearsal is at Montpelier City Hall, use the rear entrance. We will be on the main floor, first room on the right. We have a special need for clarinets, saxes & always extra trumpets.

The band is open to anyone who likes to play – we welcome everyone and exclude no one. Our repertoire this year will include American Favorites (Alexander's Ragtime Band, The Blue Tail Fly, etc.), Movie Music (Pirates of the Caribbean, Star Wars, Raiders March, etc.), music from Broadway Musicals (Hey Look Me Over, Tonight, Lara's Theme) and something I'm calling the Sweetheart's Dance (I Want a Girl, Just Like the Girl, Who Married Dear ol' Dad, The Band Played On, Let Me Call You Sweetheart and more). Come join in the fun!
