The Missisquoi National Wildlife Refuge is looking for volunteers to help plant trees this Saturday, National Public Lands Day! The project is sponsored in part by the Friends of the Missisquoi NWR and is focused on re-establishing flood plain forest trees in an old field along the Missisquoi River.

We will be meeting at 9:30 am on Saturday the 28th at the Black Creek/Maquam Creek Trail Parking Lot at the Refuge; approximately 2.5 miles from Swanton on Route 78. Come help the refuge restore forest habitat, plant one or more trees and help us celebrate National Public Lands Day!

Please dress for the weather and wear appropriate footwear. Gloves and shovels will be provided (but extra shovels are always helpful!)
