**Valentine's Day Skiing, Cookies, and Card-Making**
WHEN: Sunday, February 14th (Valentine's Day), 1-4pm
WHAT: Come cross-country skiing and snowshoeing at the Brattleboro Outing Club on our scenic 33km of groomed trails. Join us for home-made cookies and Valentine card-making in addition to our regular snacks and hot drinks in the warming hut!
COST: Free for BOC XC members. Guest trails passes $15 adult, $10 junior (ages 6-21), free for children (5 and under). Ski and snowshoe equipment rentals $10/person. Cookies and card-making supplies free or by donation.
**Friends Ski Free, Two for Price of One**
WHEN: Wednesday, February 17th, 9am - 4pm
WHAT: BOC annual Friends Ski Free and Two for Price of One day. Come cross-country skiing and snowshoeing at the Brattleboro Outing Club on our scenic 33km of groomed trails. The warming hut with ski and snowshoe rentals, snacks, and hot beverages will be open all day (8:30am-4:30pm) throughout the winter carnival week.
COST: Free to friends of members (one friend per member). Two for the price of one guest passes for non-members ($15 adults, $10 youth ages 6-21, free children 5 and under).
**Family Scavenger Hunt on Skis**
WHEN: Wednesday, February 17th, 1pm - 4pm
WHAT: Ski and Snowshoe Family Scavenger Hunts! Check in to the ski hut to receive a map of our trails and scavenger hunt destinations. Cookies, cocoa, and prizes for skiers and snowshoers await those who can find them all! Adult accompaniment of young and/or novice skiers required.
COST: Free trails pass. Ski and snowshoe rentals available: $2-$20 sliding scale.
**Full Moon Ski and Dinner at the Fairway Tavern**
WHEN: Saturday, February 20th, 6:30pm moonlight ski, 8pm dinner
WHAT: Bundle up in your warmest clothes and join the Brattleboro Outing Club for a group or solo cross-country ski by the light of the full moon. We'll warm up our hands and fill our bellies afterwards with dinner at the Fairway Tavern. Bring headlights if you have them!
COST: Free for BOC XC members. Guest trails passes $15 adult, $10 junior (ages 6-21), free for children (5 and under). Ski and snowshoe equipment rentals for $10/person. Dinner $14-24 from a menu including chicken, trout, pork tenderloin, and beef stew. All events take place at the Brattleboro Outing Club Cross Country Ski Hut at the Brattleboro Country Club: Senator Gannett Drive, 348 Upper Dummerston Rd., Brattleboro VT and are family friendly. Please note that the BOC ski hut is not wheelchair accessible or fragrance free. Late-season BOC XC membership sign-ups start at the beginning of Winter Carnival week and include one free day pass for a friend. If snow conditions do not permit skiing, events will continue as scheduled in snowshoes or hiking boots.
