PTCC Blood Drive - Benson

The Parent Teacher Community Collaborative (PTCC) is hosting a blood drive February 8th from 1 PM – 6 PM. It is being held at the United Church of Benson, 2793 Stage Road, Benson.

The severe winter storm last weekend caused many blood drives on the East Coast to be cancelled or attendance to be low. There is currently a critical shortage of blood products and an urgent need for more blood donors.

Our initial goal for the drive was 19 blood donations. The Red Cross has asked us to increase our goal to 21. We have the capacity to take 29 donations.

Each donation we collect can save up to three lives. Even if you have never donated, answers to most questions about the process and eligibility to donate blood can be found at www.redcrossblood.org. If you can't find the answer to a specific blood donation question, call 1-800 RED-CROSS.
