Craftsbury Town School Preschool Registration begins Feb 1.

“We are excited to begin registration for the Craftsbury Town School Preschool, a public preschool located at Craftsbury Elementary School. Currently the preschool shares space with the elementary library. Next year the library will move to the multi-purpose room, giving the preschool a dedicated classroom.
It is our goal to provide preschool to all 3 and 4 year-olds in the Craftsbury School District. If we have more Craftsbury students enroll than one session can accommodate, we will explore possibilities for adding a second session. Currently we have one session that meets for 4 hours, 3 days per week. Students will be enrolled using the following guidelines:
Craftsbury 4 year-olds get first priority, and will be enrolled in the order that registrations are received.
Craftsbury 3 year-olds are encouraged to register and will be enrolled in the order that registrations are received, once we have determined slots available.
Out of district registrations from 4 year-olds and 3 year-olds will be accepted if there are slots available and Craftsbury is approved to accept out of district applicants.
Registration forms for Craftsbury residents are available at the school office in the Academy building, 1422 N. Craftsbury Road. You must bring a copy of your child’s birth certificate, immunization record, and proof of residency with you. If you are a Craftsbury resident and wish to enroll your child in another approved preschool, you must enroll your child in that preschool first, then bring proof of enrollment to the school office at the Academy building, along with your child’s birth certificate, immunization record, and proof of residency. This step is required in order to access district funds available for outside preschool providers.
