The final conceptual design for the Milton 4D Project (Defining Downtown from the Diner to the Dam) will be presented during the Monday, February 1 Selectboard Meeting (6 PM Community Room of Municipal Building).
Representatives from our consultant team of LandWorks and Dubois & King will share the final conceptual design and cost estimates with the Selectboard and members of the public with a discussion will follow.
The Milton 4D project is a sidewalk and streetscape improvement project for the Rte. 7 Corridor the runs through the heart of Milton. A $2.4 million bond was approved on Town Meeting Day 2015 for this work, and public engagement meetings were held last fall to aid in the formation of the conceptual design. Visit the project webpage to look at the designs from November and additional information http://miltonvt.org/m4d.html.
I encourage you to attend the meeting to see this presentation. It will also be live streamed and recorded for future viewing. I anticipate the presentation to begin around 6:30 after earlier agenda items are complete.
Please call, email or stop by my office is you have any questions.
