Bob and Martha Manning of Burlington will talk about their new book, Walking Distance: Extraordinary Hikes for Ordinary People. A number of years ago, the Mannings walked Vermont's beloved Long Trail and they have gone on to walk many of the world's great long-distance trails. They'll briefly describe their book, which has been called "beautiful" and "inspiring", and show slides from several of their favorite trails.
