The Montpelier Planning Commission is holding a hearing tonight at 5:30 so that the public can comment on proposed changes to the zoning regulations in the city. Public input is important as these changes will influence the course of the city's development and character over the next many years.

I think the proposed changes do an excellent job of helping us maintain the characteristics I enjoy about the city while also clearly stating how and where new development might happen. If you are unable to attend, please look over the websites and email your comments to your city council members.
