Celtic Spirituality Retreat, Jan. 30

Past event
Jan 30, 2016

"Deep peace of the snow-blanketed forest to you", the blessings of winter. Celtic Spirituality teaches out of a creation-affirming wisdom tradition. The retreat provides times of learning from that tradition, times of silence, times of music, times of creativity, times of quiet spiritual conversation, good wholesome food shared, and especially time to be with winter forest. We gather at the property of Mary Hill, the artist, at 9:15 AM, Saturday Jan. 30. A simple lunch of soup will be offered. The retreat ends by 3:30 PM. The retreat will be led by the Rev. Dr. Regina Christianson who will, once again, bring her Celtic harp. The retreat is offered for the wellbeing of our community so it is free; if so moved, participants can make a contribution to the "New Door Fund" to help pay for the installation of an energy efficient front door for Calvary Episcopal Church. To ensure that plan for enough food, please let us know if you wish to be part of this retreat by replying to this posting.
