It's that time again to order from Middlebury Foods! This is a program developed and hosted by Middlebury College students to help provide healthy, affordable food for families and individuals. Now the take EBT cards, credit card, check, or cash and you can even prepay online then pick up at one of their pick up sites you've selected. Bristol's delivery is on Sunday, January 24 from 1 - 2 p.m. at the American Legion Post 19 near the high school (usually in the parking lot). Or you can pay when you pick up.
January Family Box ($35) includes: pork chops, chicken breast, pinto beans, yams, red potatoes, baby carrots, acorn squash, onions, green peppers, red cabbage, and brussel sprouts.
There's an essentials box you can order for $12 or just add to your Family Box for $5 more!
The January Produce Box ($20) includes: Avocado, carrots, acorn squash, onions, green pepper, red cabbage, macintosh apples, oranges, grapefruit, kiwi.
They also offer locally produced meats at a discount, too! I have enjoyed steaks, fresh ground turkey, fresh ground beef.
