6:30pm -Public Hearing for proposed changes to the Town Bylaws. Location: Grand Isle Town office. For a copy of the proposed changes please go to the Town website, www.grandislevt.org located on the main page
7:30pm - Public Information Session regarding purchasing the Poratti Property. Location: Grand Isle School Cafeteria. There will be a vote on Tuesday, February 2 from 7am to 7pm regarding the Poratti Property at the Town Office.
ARTICLE I:
“Shall general obligation bonds of the Town of Grand Isle in an amount not to exceed One Hundred Thirteen Thousand Dollars ($113,000), subject to reduction from the receipt of grants-in-aid, be issued for the purpose of financing the acquisition of a parcel of land consisting of approximately 4.88 acres, located off Hyde Road and known as the Poratti Property?”
With recent confusion on how voting works. If you want the Town to purchase the Poratti Property vote Yes. If you do not want the Town to purchase the Poratti Property vote NO.
