The Friends of the Stowe Free Library Presents: A FREE TALK AND BOOK SIGNING with Author and Adventurer Jan Reynolds “High Altitude Woman” on Thursday, February 11th, 7-8 pm in the Community Room – Stowe Free Library

Stowe’s own Jan Reynolds is a prizewinning photojournalist whose intrepid adventures have taken her to every continent, photographing and recording vanishing cultures to preserve their unique heritage for future generations. An accomplished athlete, she is a medal-winner in World Cup biathlon, holds several high-altitude skiing and mountain climbing records, and ballooned over the Himalayas.
In her recent book “High Altitude Woman”, Jan takes us on an exploration from extreme sports, to indigenous cultures, the differences between men and women as it relates to her adventures and discovering the power of the feminine!
The Community Room of the Stowe Free Library is accessed from the rear of the building, with parking in the Elementary School lot. For further information, call the Library at 253-6145.
