We will be gathering at the Library next week on Wednesday, January 20th at 6:30pm to talk about "Empire Falls" by Richard Russo.
It may be cold outside, but the library is cozy inside thanks to the completion of structural improvements and lots of new insulation! If next week is too soon, but you're thinking of coming to the February discussion, you can start reading "Middlemarch" by George Eliot. We like to mix it up at Talk About Books. "Middlemarch" will provide quite a different reading experience than "Empire Falls".
Is there a book you've been meaning to read and would like to discuss in a group? We welcome newcomers and their reading suggestions. If you need a ride, we like to carpool. Just call the Library at 257-4603.
Don't forget our meeting dates are easy to remember. They're every third Wednesday of the month at the Library at 6:30pm.
