Meet Sue Minter candidate for governor, at the Brown Public Library Community Room on Tuesday, January 19th from 6pm to 7pm. Ms. Minter will share her reasons for running for governor and her vision for Vermont. There will also be a time for audience questions. Refreshments will be served and we will be collecting nonperishable food items for the CERV food shelf.

Ms. Minter, a member of the Vermont House of Representatives starting in 2004, represented the district comprised of Waterbury, Duxbury, Huntington and Buel’s Gore. She also served as Deputy Secretary of the Vermont Agency of Transportation and in 2012 became Vermont’s Irene Recovery Officer. In 2015, she was appointed Secretary of the Vermont Agency of Transportation before resigning to run for Governor. The Northfield Town Democratic Committee is sponsoring this event, and hopes to bring other candidates to town to allow Northfielders similar opportunities to meet them, as well.
