Noted weather guru Roger Hill will speak this Saturday night at the Unitarian Church in Montpelier. The winter lecture series will also feature new State Archeologist Jess Robinson (2/20/16) and famed naturalist Brian Pfeiffer on 3/19/16.
The Clarke Lecture series, over 50 years old now, is a dinner/lecture series held each winter to bring new developments in natural history science to the general public. The evening begins at 6pm with hot cider and conversation with the speaker, continues with a carefully prepared vegetarian dinner by chef Amy Wales and culminating with the talk by central Vermont's own Roger Hill. Roger will talk about climate change and the extreme and not so extreme weather that is and may continue to affect our region and planet.
Please join us for a delicious dinner (cost $15) and lecture or for the lecture by donation at 7:30.
