Past event
Jan 22 to 23, 2016

Explore and connect with your open heart and mind at the Burlington Shambhala Center. All are welcome to ‘Shambhala Meditation: Proclaiming Basic Goodness,’ Friday, Jan 22, 5:30 - 8 pm and Saturday, Jan 23, 7:30 am - 4 pm. This weekend program is a live video broadcast with Sakyong Mipham Rinpoche and Acharya Noel McLellan.

During this program, Sakyong Mipham Rinpoche will teach Shambhala Meditation, a practice that is simple and profound. Through Shambhala Meditation, we learn to embody wisdom and compassion. The practice can be a powerful antidote to the aggression and suffering of our times. The Sakyong, literally translated as “earth protector,” is a dharma king and lineage holder of the Shambhala lineage, guiding thousands of students around the world in the path of meditation.
