The VSAC Outreach Counselor, Anne Kaplan, who serves Northfield HS will be available on Thursday Jan 14th to help parents complete college financial aid forms and to look over completed forms. VSAC is providing this service for parents free of charge. You can sign up for an hour to work on filling out the forms online with the Outreach Counselor present or you can sign up for a half hour and bring in completed forms for her to review.

Computers will be available so that parents may take advantage of the faster processing time and improved accuracy of the internet financial aid applications. VSAC and the Federal Dept. of Education are encouraging families to apply for financial aid on-line. However, if you are uncomfortable sending information over the internet, paper applications can still be filed but are extremely limited in availability. You can request a paper FAFSA by calling 1-800-433-3243 or download a FAFSA at https://fafsa.ed.gov/options.htm. You may call VSAC at 1-800-642-3177 for a paper VT Grant Application.
