What? Shape Note Singing is an acapella four part harmony folk singing tradition hundreds of years old. We sing out of the Sacred Harp - a book of hymns with music that will look a little different than you might be used to because the notes are different shapes. We sing in a square facing each other with all of our voice. Tenor has the melody and can be sung by men and women (up the octave).

Come one - Come all - No experience necessary. This is non-performance and this is a great opportunity to even step in to have a listen.
This event is free and open to the public. (Donations to cover the cost of renting the hall are gratefully accepted).
