Hi Folks, A heads up about an upcoming Burlington Electric Commissioners meeting on Wednesday evening at 5:30 at 585 Pine St.. On the agenda is a discussion about extending the timeline and contractual milestones associated with the South Forty Solar Project. Currently, South Forty must have it's permits and it's CPG (Certificate of Public Good issued by the PSB) by March 28th. If they have not accomplished this by that time, then the current Power Purchase Agreement with BED is void. This and other milestones can be extended by the Commissioners who will be voting on that very question this Wednesday. The last time that they voted for an extension they had received very little commentary from anyone opposed to this project.
