The EMUU study committee has been made aware of a flyer circulating in Morristown that is full of incorrect information based on calculations that use an outdated education funding formula that has been obsolete in Vermont for the last 15 years. Voting based on the information this flyer provides will lead to a very costly outcome for our town. Please come tomorrow night so we can explain the current education funding system and the impacts the EMUU merger will have on the taxpayers of Morristown.

Tuesday, January 12th, at 6:30 p.m. in the Morristown Elementary School Library. Brad James, Vermont Education Finance Manager, and Nicole Mace, Executive Director, Vermont School Boards Association, will be on hand to give perspective and answer questions about EDUCATION FUNDING, TAXES and ACT 46.
