The Blue Star Mothers of Vermont will be hosting a Calcutta to benefit the Josh Pallotta Fund. Josh was a 2007 graduate of Colchester High School. In 2009 he joined the Vermont National Guard and deployed to Afghanistan in 2010 as part of Operation Enduring Freedom. Sadly, Josh lost his battle with PTSD and ended his pain on September 23, 2014. Due to the outpouring of support from the community, the Josh Pallotta Fund was established and will be used to support Veterans with PTSD.
The Calcutta will be held on Sunday, January 24th at 2:00-4:00 p.m. at the VFW Post #6689, Pearl Street, Essex, VT.
Tickets are $25 (includes one Calcutta ball and light refreshments for two). Grand prize is $1000. (you don't have to be present to win, you just need a proxy which one of us BSMVT will be).
For tickets please call Beni at 802-922-5591.
Thank you for supporting our Vermont Veterans and Blue Star Mothers of Vermont. Together we will help to end Veteran suicide.
