Five Corners Pub & Brewhouse is pleased to announce the launch of our Plymouth Pub Talks Speaker Series in which we invite community members to come listen to interesting people speak about interesting subjects. The Series kicks off this Wednesday, January 13 at 7pm.

Our first speaker, Lisa Kaiman, owner of Jersey Girls Dairy and the ‪‎Jersey Girls Farm Store‬ in Chester, Vermont, will speak about “farming, foods and food less travelled.” Come sample some fantastic Jersey Boyz Sausage, made with certified humanely raised veal, and other Jersey Girls products. No purchase is necessary to attend, but our normal, outstanding menu of casual food, Vermont-made beer, wine and soft drinks is available.

The Plymouth Pub Talks series will continue the following Wednesday, January 20, with a presentation by ‪Plymouth Artisan Cheese‬ cheesemaker Chris Moonen. A Plymouth resident, Moonen will speak about the process of cheesemaking and what factors influence many popular flavors and types of cheese. Come sample several varieties of Plymouth Cheese, with narrative provided by the cheesemaker!

The Plymouth Pub Talks series is a family-friendly event. Our goal is to provide community members with a fun, informative evening out, and a chance to have a pint and catch up with a friend. We’ll be announcing more speakers and dates shortly, so stay tuned!
