On Wed., 1/20, 7 PM., at the Craftsbury Public Library, the Craftsbury Energy Committee will be hosting the viewing of the movie "Surviving Progress". The film is a series of interviews with the likes of Stephen Hawking, Jane Goodall and others sharing their thoughts on whether the pitfalls of progress could actually destroy civilization instead of help it. It also looks at the impact of over-consumption and the exploitation of the world's natural resources, along with the downfalls of concentrated wealth.
We will have refreshments and a short discussion afterwards.
Come for the Community Dinner at the Church on the Common at 6 and then across the street to the Library at 7!
