Join Us for a Screening of "Alive Inside", a film about music and memory, Sunday January 10, 2016, 3 PM at the United Church of Craftsbury.

ALIVE INSIDE is a joyous cinematic exploration of music’s capacity to reawaken our souls and uncover the deepest parts of our humanity. The film chronicles the astonishing experiences of individuals who have been revitalized through the simple experience of listening to music. This documentary follows Dan Cohen, who demonstrates music’s ability to combat memory loss and restore a deep sense of self to those suffering from it. We hear from family members who have witnessed the miraculous effects of personalized music on their loved ones, and hear illuminating interviews with experts including neurologist and author Oliver Sacks and musician Bobby McFerrin.

Refreshments will be served. A discussion of the film and its ideas will follow. Admission is free, although contributions
to defray the cost of the film will be welcomed.
