Two walking tours of Bluffside Farm in Newport – Jan 9 and 19 at 1 pm – meet at the farm at 171 Scott Farm Road.

Vermont Land Trust bought the 129 acre farm on Lake Memphremagog in late December and plans to serve as an interim owner and work with the community on a disposition plan that maximizes use of the land for purposes such as farming, recreation, natural resource protection and other community values. As a first step they are offering tours of the property to the community. Indoor public input sessions will follow in February and March.
