ZENTANGLE DRAWING

Tuesdays, January 12-February 2, 2:45-4:00
Grades: 3rd – 6th
This class will focus on the basics of the Zentangle® drawing method which will teach students steps of creating original Zentangle tiles. It’s an easy-to-learn, relaxing, and fun way to create beautiful images by drawing structured patterns. Certified Zentangle Teacher, Jamie, will teach students tangles and guide them in weekly hands-on art utilizing pencil, pen, and paper to create a unique piece to take home each week. No art experience required. The Zentangle method has been found to provide numerous benefits including increased focus and creative thinking, reduced stress and anxiety, improved mood and a sense of accomplishment, improved motor skills and problem solving. Duration: 4 weeks. $55 per student.
