Learn how to make your own laundry soap at the Craftsbury Public Library! Making laundry soap is very easy to do, and much less expensive than purchasing soap. Moreover, homemade soap does not use petroleum based products. Susan McNaughton, a science and home economics teacher with textile conservation training, will lead this hands on program on Sunday evening, January 10 at 7PM. Please bring along a half pint size jar if possible, to carry home a sample if the batch made during the program.
