Hello Neighbors,

Coming to a territory near you! The 116th annual Christmas Bird Count for the Huntington, Hinesburg, Richmond, and Starksboro area will take place for the full 24 hours of January 2, 2016. A 15 mile diameter circle spanning these towns, known as the Hinesburg Circle, will be monitored by birders. I will be surveying an area from Gore Road to Big Hollow. All side roads east and west (and including) Main Road in Buells Gore, Starksboro, and Huntington Center, may have birders walking or driving (slowly) a dark red Honda CRV. The Huntington side of Hinesburg Hollow Road, and a portion of Lincoln Hill will also be covered.

Please respond privately if you have any concerns or would like to know more about how to participate in a CBC. Volunteer “feeder watchers” are also welcome!
