The Selectboard will be conducting a site inspection of the town-owned Winston/Silberberg property located at 3035 US Route 2 on the northeast end of East Montpelier Village. The inspection of the building and land will be held on Saturday, January 9th at 10:00 a.m. The public is invited to attend -- snowshoes appear optional at this point.

This event is a continuation of the Selectboard's effort to gather information on the 48-acre parcel. In the weeks following the inspection, the board will create a committee to move forward with near-term objectives, such as developing an action plan for the existing structure. The hope is that people interested in serving on the committee will participate in the inspection. We'll meet at the building. Limited parking on-site; additional parking is available at the adjacent WEC garage property (which should be town-owned by January 9th) or across Route 14 in the Church Street and town office lots.
