Seated Yoga Begins Oct. 3

Past event
Oct 3, 10 AM to 11 AM, Nov 21, 2013

Come and join us at the Lanpher Memorial Library in Hyde Park, Thursdays at 10:00 a.m. for Seated Yoga. The sessions will begin on October 3rd. Judy Clark, who has been teaching Seated Yoga for years, will be leading the Yoga exercise using breath (Prana), meditation (Raja), and physical movement and poses (Hatha).

Yoga (a Sanskrit word) means wholeness, and Yoga exercise is the most complete exercise that Judy has experienced. The Yoga exercise will be performed in a chair, so almost anyone is capable of achieving the exercises. The benefits of Yoga are many: relaxing, stress reducing, flexibility, balance, poise, muscle tone, bringing feelings of tranquility and vitality.

Come and join Judy any Thursday for integrated exercise (mind, body and spirit). Please dress casually in loose clothing. Preferably, eat a light meal at least one hour prior to arriving. Please help spread the word! In appreciation for funding by the Copley Foundation, participation is free of charge. For more information and registration, you can call Judy Clark at 888-4864.
