National Honor Society Clothing Swap Benefit

Past event
Jan 9, 2016, 9 AM to 1 PM

Hello all,

Are you looking to switch up your wardrobe for cheap?
If you are, the Vergennes National Honor Society has the answer for you. VUHS is hosting a clothing swap!
This event is taking place on Saturday, January 9th from 9 am to 1 pm in the middle school gym. All profit made will be split and donated to two different causes: a Polar Bear Challenge fund run by Nathan Rowell and Hailey Cray to benefit PKD research (Polycystic Kidney Disease) and the class of 2016's project graduation. All left over clothes will be donated to the John Graham Shelter in Vergennes.

You can be involved in two ways: The first is bringing in a bag (tote bag, garbage bag, etc.) full of clean clothes and dropping these clothes off at VUHS, at 16 East Street, or bringing them in on the day of the swap. Please make sure that your name is on the bag! For each bag of clothes you donate, you get a bag free at the swap! If you not bring in clothes to donate, each bag of clothes will be only $10 at the swap!

We are in need of lots of donations!
Any clothing will be accepted for donation as long as they are clean. You can fill your bag with any clothing you are willing to give away, as well as shoes, jewelry, and outerwear (hats, coats, gloves, etc.). So, if you can, please go through your closets are get rid of those clothes that don't fit you, that you haven't worn in forever, or you just don't want anymore.

We hope to see you all there!
