Coming up Thursday on Goddard College Community Radio—talking trash, and what happens after it leaves your home.
9:00 - 10:00 am
Cassandra Hemenway and Charlotte Low of the Central Vermont Solid Waste Management District will talk about their zero-sort recycling program, what happens to the various components, why it matters that only recycling goes into the zero-sort bins, and other questions.
We'll take listener calls related to trash disposal and recycling and other issues. If there is any time left in the hour, we'll listen to a bonus edition of Extempo stories from the excellent event at Espresso Bueno earlier this month.
10:00 - 10:30 am
Resilience Thoughts, a locally told Extempo story, plus upcoming events related to energy, food, and the local economy at the end of the age of oil.
