Greetings, friends and neighbors!
If you haven't heard yet, the wonderful Stories for a Winter's Eve returns for a fourth year to the Old Meeting House in East Montpelier this Saturday, December 19, with 2 shows at 3 pm and 7 pm. A collection of sweet and savory short stories by Vermont authors, read by the incomparable Mark Nash and Kathryn Blume of the Champlain Valley, and ornamented with original music from Pete Sutherland and me. Poignant and hilarious, the evening provides a reprieve from buying, downloading, texting, and otherwise cramming in the season. Sit back and let us usher in a little light in this dark season.
Tickets can be reserved by calling 249-0404 or visiting www.oldmeetinghouse.org. $15 in advance, $18 at the door, 4-pack for $50, $10 for kids under 12 (although we don't recommend bringing really little kids, as it's difficult for many of them to sit quietly through the entire program - content is fine).
Hope to see many of you there!
