The Lanpher Library has Night Owl Story Time every Monday evening at 6:00p.m.

Once each month, the Lamoille County Nature Center's Outreach Coordinator, Carrie Riker, comes to Night Owl Story Time to lead a Naturalist Program for those who attend.

On Monday, December 21st, at 6:00 we'll have "WORMS IN WINTER: What on earth do worms do in the winter? Our traveling troupe of red wigglers will come give us the inside scoop. After some gentle observation and warm-ups, the worms will be invited to form teams and participate in the Worm Olympics. We'll also learn how worms help make our lunch!" These popular programs are funded by local businesses and organizations such as: Hawkeye International; Polow, Polow, & Mahoney; Fred's Import Specialist, Inc.; Hyde Park Partners in Education (P.I.E); Hyde Park Community Circle; Steve Manosh, Excavating; Union Bank and the House of Troy.

We are incredibly grateful to our sponsors for allowing us to continue this series of programming every year. Carrie is gifted at teaching the subjects in ways that are fun, informative and interactive. Children love learning more about the world right outside their doors. They love coming each month to report back to Carrie about what they've observed since her last visit. They love sharing what they already know about the topics she teaches.

You can get the entire season's schedule on our Children's Corner page of our website: lanpherlibrary.org Adults are welcome too!
